The company was founded in 1955 and started off as Mercedes Benz exclusive agents. In 1988 A.Yazbeck and Sons Ltd was officially appointed Peugeot agents.

The headquarter is situated at 2, Blackhall road in the bustling heart of Freetown.

Ever since they first appeared in the shape of the 202, which arrived in Freetown in the mid-40s, Peugeots have had an unrivalled reputation for quality and reliability in the tough conditions of Africa. After taking over as Peugeot agent, the first car that A. Yazbeck & Sons Ltd sold was the Peugeot 505 saloon and station wagon. In 1989 A. Yazbeck & Sons Ltd   introduced the Peugeot 405 which was followed in 1994/95 by the 306. The 306 was first sold in the hatch back form; The 306 saloon was then later introduced in 1996, the 206 was launched in the year 2000, the 406 in 1997, the 307 saloon in the year 2002 and the station wagon in 2006, 607 limousine in 2002 and the latest introduction  to the market the 407 in 2006.

A. Yazbeck & Sons Ltd supply  a varied range of tropicalised versions of leading models brand leading providing quality vehicles being offered with the right specification, at the right price at the right time.

Apart from the casual sale of vehicles A. Yazbeck & Sons Ltd sold also offers other sales activities such as the financed lease. This is whereby the customer pays a standard fee for the use of a fleet of vehicles for the including service and repairs. Other sales activities include the A. Yazbeck & Sons Ltd sold car hire. It was started in 1995 and its core business is to offer contract lease hire and hire purchase of vehicles.

After Sales 

In order to keep up the high product quality and ensure continuous customer satisfaction, A. Yazbeck and Sons Ltd has various aftermarket offers. An example is the service contract packages which have a fixed yearly fee for labor, discount on parts and priority in service. Peugeot checks that comes with the package which allow early detection of unknown problems within the vehicle in good time.
